Tim Phizackerley is a UK hypnotist, hypnotherapy teacher and mind coach. He advertises as being Britain's fastest hypnotist and helps real people with serious problems. He has a diploma with distinction in clinical hypnotherapy, has worked with the occasional celebrity, has an international client list and has also been featured in the national press and on radio and TV. MORE INFO BELOW JUST IN CASE YOU NRED IT... His interest in hypnosis happened pretty much by accident and out of desperation when his wife was struggling with a terminal illness. Twenty years on Tim is a hypnotist and his wife is now a multiple transplantee and a rare survivor of three terminal illnesses. As a hypnotist and therapist Tim likes to specialise in mindset and problems that other therapists either don't want to work on or have otherwise failed with. This means that he mostly works on alcohol and other addictions, also serious eating disorders. But he also likes to work on things like performance, post traumatic stress, and anxiety. His method for treating PTSD was recently independently endorsed by proffessionap neuroscientists in a published independent clinical study which reported positive outcomes for every participant. (Note. Reference for this is available if desired) He designed a fear of flying system which is offered through some of the UKs biggest airports. And he has also created tools and methods which are being used in a number of UK schools to help children with mental health issues. He says that hypnosis absolutely isn't what you think it is and that everyone should understand it. Although he is now a professional hypnotist and therapist he also says there are some serious problems in the world of hypnotherapy.
“don’t let anybody else tell you that you can’t do it. Decide that you are going to do it better than anyone else and don’t listen to anyone who tells you that you can’t. And again, I think this comes back to what Henry Ford said and Dave Ellman, what the mind expects to happen is generally realised. So, decide you are going to do it really, really well. If you set your sights all low it’s hardly going to be a surprise if you don’t achieve very much ”…[Listen for More]

“I think being an entrepreneur is a balancing act that changes over time. In the beginning is about saying yes to everything because your wheelhouse is just forming, you are trying to figure it out, you are seeing what sticks. And that is going to push you and keep you up at night… Like literally there were many late nights because we said yes. But I think keeping that early door open to anything helps you figure out what works and what doesn’t. And then there is a shift and we have to learn the power of no and stay in your lane which Lee spoke about and realising that you can’t be all things to all people and that being busy only works if you are trying to get to where you want to go but it’s not going to work if you are burnt out in the process. And so, it’s finding that balance of when to say no yes and when to say no. And then as you get more established and as you move on into the maturity of your business don’t be afraid to challenge your own status quo. When something comes along and it’s uncomfortable and scary but it fits within your wheelhouse sometimes saying yes can transform what you are doing “ [Listen for More]

“don’t listen to the naysayers. I think that entrepreneurs are a rare breed and being an entrepreneur isn’t for everyone. And so often times we go to family and friends for advice and it’s important to keep in mind that they are giving advice based on who they are and not who you are. And so have confidence in who you are and if you stay resourceful you will be able to get through the challenges of being an entrepreneur. But be careful who you go to for advice. “We cannot become what we want by remaining who we are. We have got to become familiar with the unknown, we’ve got to get mentors and coaches. But overall, I think the biggest lesson I’ve taken is by changing your internal state we can exchange our external results. Too many people focus on tactics without focusing on their external state. Focus on your mind, focus on your control of emotions, focus on your beliefs. “Unless you are really passionate about an idea don’t even start a business. Starting a business to make money is not the best way to start. Passion alone is not sufficient either. So, you need to ask yourself what gives you the right to succeed in the marketplace? Does your product or service have a sustainable product or competitive advantage? Many entrepreneurs dream of success, they may even have a clear vision, they may be really passionate about their business, they may even have a plan in mind.
