“really understand your why and put it front and centre. And when I say put it front and centre… if you need a sticky note to put it on your monitor go ahead and do so. Because if you understand your why then every decision that you make will be towards that why. You won’t deviate from it… Understand where your why is on why you started the business in the first place because ultimately it wasn’t because you wanted to work more ”…[Listen for More]

Iron Tamer Dave Whitley is a motivational speaker and strongman based in Nashville TN. As a kid, Dave was overweight and had a terrible stutter. Retreating into a world of fantasy and comic books, he dreamed of becoming SuperHuman. Now, as a motivational speaker, he uses SuperHuman feats of strength to share his message with his audience.

“persist in whatever the next small step is. We all have the big vision, we all come up with a plan but it’s very easy to see that is something that can be way far down the road and gets caught up in the day-to-day busy-ness of our business. And a long period of time can pass and you been very busy but you haven’t really accomplished anything. So persisting in whatever that end vision is and making it as real as possible in your mind so much so that if you wake up in the morning and think okay if I’ve already complex this goal what’s my day going to look like today versus what can I do today to take me closer to the goal. And that’s not just semantics there’s very important mental shift in their of what I call ‘living from the end’. So if I can really imagine and put myself in the place of the person whose accomplished whatever it is that I’ve decided I want to do it’s almost like from that point of view I can look back to where I am in the present moment and see the path that it took to get there much more clearly than trying to create a path from here to there out of information I don’t know yet ”…[Listen for More]

It’s really about the people who have persistence and just don’t give up and continue to find new ways to achieve what it is they are trying to achieve. “doing things that challenge you, that make you uncomfortable… Building a network of friends and people you know that our entrepreneurs. Some that are further along the new and some that are just starting out but most importantly people that have a very different perspective than you that are fundamentally different people than you. The geeks like to hangout with the geeks and the jocks like to hangout with the jocks. I think it is important as entrepreneurs is to have people that will challenge the way we look at things, challenge the way that we think and that helps us to think about things from more perspectives and see holes that we wouldn’t normally see in our business ”…[Listen for More]

“manage profit. Profit is not about greed, it’s about solvency, it’s about building equity, it’s about retiring debt, it’s about taking care of your family, it’s about the benefits you offer to your employees. And if you don’t manage profit first bad things happen. So, I am a profit for sky and I don’t want to again communicate that that somehow supposed to be about greed because it’s not. The responsibility of every small business owner every mid-sized business owner, every large business is to produce a minimum mandatory profit that is engineered within a company because that impacts so many areas of the business. “know who you are. It is too easy to be in business for the wrong reasons. It’s too easy to be in a job because we think it’s going to be more lucrative or prestigious all sorts of things which have nothing to do with us, who we are truly inside ourselves… Understand who you are, understand what drives you, understand what your passions are, understand what gives you joy and fulfilment. “ask really hard questions of yourself. And so what I mean by that might be questions like: Why am I making this business harder than it has to be? I see that all the time with entrepreneurs. Another one might be: Am I hiding or playing to small and why am I doing that? What am I afraid of? Why am I holding myself back? Another one might be. Am I doing busy work because I am afraid to be seen? Busywork just keeps us busy and it keeps us safe from showing up. Another one might be: Where do you think you will be a year from now if you keep that up? I mean those are hard questions that I think require a lot of self-examination. So my best advice is ask yourself the hard questions, the things you might be avoiding” …[Listen for More]

Croz Crossley has a wealth of experience to share after having been in business for over 50 years. Although there were many successes,he says that most of his wisdom and knowledge comes from the things that went wrong during that time. After one very bad situation about 25 years ago he lost everything and after that he really struggled trying to get back in 5 minutes what had taken many years to accumulate. He also at this time learnt that you never make good decisions when you are stressed. That is when he set about studying how powerful our mind is and how much control we have over what happens in our life. Using these teachings he climbed back up the ladder and put himself in a better position than he had been before and then set about telling as many people as he could about these amazing teachings.

“be you, be honest, be courageous… if you chase money it will run away. So you have always got to be relaxed retract money… Least desperate you make your business for money the more you will attract. Don’t chase money, allow it to come because if you position properly in your business money becomes the result not the reason”…[Listen for More]

“have a respect for systems. And if you don’t have a system that is working for you or you lack a system in a particular area of your business... it really is about strengthening your weakest link. And your weakest link is usually because there is not a system or a process that is working or maybe it’s absent altogether. So I would highly recommend people find the person that is really running that system at a high level, learn from that person, maybe do mentorship training, whatever it is. Because your business is worth it and if you don’t want to treat it as a hobby it’s important that you do that”…[Listen for More]

You sit there, instead of being glued to your computer you sit there getting your right brain engaged and it’s kind of like coming up with creative solutions, coming up with creative ways of getting in touch with people, staying fresh and actually getting inspired by what you do instead of bogged down with what you do… What gets you business is getting out there, being yourself and always being true to yourself. “let go and go with the flow… It’s very easy to get attached to the way you think things should happen and to get stuck and in resistance. So I think when you just let go and have fun with it and just go with the flow and just enjoy it and allow that current to take you it can take you to places that you couldn’t even have envisaged if you had sat down and thought about.
