“decide as quickly as possible who the right person is that you want to have in your life especially if you are doing client work. One of the best questions I have asked myself was if a client landed in San Diego, got off a plane and texted me and said hey man I just dropped in let me buy you a drink, come out. Who is the person I would want to get that text from that I would want to say yes to?… The faster you figure out who that right person is the faster you can make all those other decisions that I mentioned. Like what’s the one thing I am going to sell to them? How do I become micro in that space to them? You can’t make any of those decisions or take any action there until you make that very first decision. Who is that person that I want to serve and impact, person that I want to teach, train and lead? Who is that person that I want to hang out with? After spending significant time as both a driver and a passenger of ride-share companies like Uber and Lyft while in the military, Ryan Green saw a problem: drivers didn’t have enough data. A strong drive toward entrepreneurship prompted Green to launch Gridwise in 2016 and address that problem with a crowdsource-powered app that empowers rideshare and delivery drivers to earn up to 39% more per hour.
