If you have loyalty, whether it’s within your team of employees, co-workers partners, vendor’s, government agencies (if they are loyal to your cause), politicians (there are some that are remarkable and actually help entrepreneurs)… Go for loyalty at every level whether it’s employees or anything related to your business, look at the word loyalty, take that word and apply it to each of people around you and use that as a yardstick to continue and develop relationships with that group of people. I think that’s your key to success”…[Listen for More]

“business your business so that it runs without you. Like even if you’re on day one having your mind what are the processes, what are the systems, how is the company ultimately going to define its culture, how is the company ultimately going to hire people and get new business and on-board new customers? Be thinking in terms of how all of that’s going to happen without you. Because ultimately that’s going to be a more valuable business both to you and your customer”…[Listen for More]

Bestselling author Steve Farber is the founder and CEO of The Extreme Leadership Institute—a learning and development firm devoted to helping its clients develop award-winning cultures and achieve radical results. His much-anticipated new book, Love is Just Damn Good Business, is published by McGraw-Hill.

“be really clear on why you love whatever endeavour you are in, pursuing or about to pursue. I think we skip over that question. So specifically it would be why do I love this business? Or why do I love this project? Or why do I love this product? Or why do I love this service? You pick the context. Why do I love this? And how can I show it in my actions. I think a lot of time we start businesses because we get excited about an idea but we don’t take the time to really reflect and personalise it. And I think if you do that, if you start that and then asked that question of yourself frequently it’s going to keep your fire burning, is going to keep you energised. It’s not going to come out that way is going to be more like why the hell did I sign up for this or what was I thinking. So what I’m going to suggest to you is the more difficult it is to answer this why do I love this work question the more important it is to answer that question because that’s what’s going to keep your own fire burning especially at the times when you need it most”…[Listen for More]

“stay in your own lane, keep really focused on what you are doing and don’t get shiny object syndrome where you look at somebody else and what they are doing and decide to do what they are doing instead because maybe what you are doing hasn’t had an immediate result. I think that the whole of business rests on consistency. So you have to do something over and over again for a long period of time before it can work”…[Listen for More]
