Zachary Rook is a 29-year- old entrepreneur who was a hand-hopping, head sliding professional breakdancer. In 2007 he started Your Local Movers in Brisbane and has experienced an average of 30% growth year on year, and he has now expanded operations throughout Australia. Zachary was on the board for Entrepreneurs Organisation (EO) from 2013 to 2015, an exclusive group for business owners turning over a minimum of $1 million per annum. So how did Zach as a The young entrepreneur become one of Brisbane’s most successful entrepreneurs? The story is simple. Nine years ago, 19 year old Zachary was travelling around New Zealand and looking to make a few extra dollars, so he started working for a removal company. Four hours later he believed he could do a better job, bought a $3,500 truck, and nine years later he employs up to 50 staff in locations across Australia. The young entrepreneur says his success is attributed to one simple element – excellent service.

Nick Bell is an entrepreneur, investor and founder of WME, Australia’s largest digital marketing agency, now operating globally with a turnover of more than $55 million. His passion is to lead and invest in companies, which are constantly innovating and improving the way others do business.

As a budding young entrepreneur, Nick’s entry into business was more ambitious than successful. He dropped out of university after six weeks to launch a skincare business, which despite its potential ran into supply chain difficulties, impacting cashflow. Down to his last $400, in 2008 Nick decided to give it ‘one more crack’ teaching himself SEO and starting an internet marketing company.

With fierce determination and a passion for helping others, Nick started cold calling clients and within five days had his first SEO client. The money he made he reinvested back into the business, and in six months he opened an office and hired a team member.
